Darlene was born in Sisseton, SD, to Milton Stavick and Ella Mae Holman on the 4th of July in 1949. Darlene lived in numerous locations in the Black Hills, her last residence being in Whitewood. She held many jobs, jewelry maker, bartender, and server. She loved hunting pheasant, antelope, deer, and fishing as nature was her solace. She loved to collect raccoons of every size, shape, and character to add to her collection. She danced like no one was watching. Sang to every song with no fear of judgement. She told jokes that made the hardest men blush. Through all her trials and tribulations, she lived life to the fullest. Her laughter will ring through the hills and pines forever eternity.
