Obituary

Aleatha L. Kadinger, 96, Sturgis, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Sturgis Regional Senior Care Center.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. A rosary and Christian prayer service will begin at 7 p.m on Friday, November 15,2013.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 at the St. Martin's Chapel in Sturgis with Fr. Arnold Kari officiating. Burial follows at the St. Aloysius Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to Saint Martin's Chapel restoration.

Aleatha was born October 7, 1917 at Dubuque, IA, to Samuel and Rosalia (Garvey) Murphy.

In her youth she loved horses, and was an avid horse back rider who spent many years horseback riding through the hills and prairies in Clark County where her parents farmed.

She often said that she made a success of her life through her children, who she dearly loved. She often said what mother could ask for more than that of a good and wonderful family.

She also loved music and to sing. In recent years she composed poetry and also enjoyed reading poetry.

She also loved watching birds and reading. In recent years she enjoyed her grandchildren and loved being with them.

Survivors include her daughters, Lila (LeRoy) Deneke, Rapid City, Patty Cass, Sturgis, Jackie (Greg) Littler, Sturgis; sons, Joe (Martha) Couch, Little Rock, AR, Frank (Kathy) Pautz, Spearfish; sister, Leona Leighton, Potosi, WI; grandchildren, Daryl, Tom and Mike Deneke, Lynn Denton-Jones, Rae Erickson, Michelle Ibarra, Patrick Cass, Laura Nelson, Joe Cass, Bart and Faith Pautz and Levi Littler; great grandchildren, Erika and Adam Deneke, Hunter, Allyx, and Lexyjo Deneke, Kirsty Deneke, Natalie and Autumn Denton, Michael and Stephen Moseley, Alivia and Ava Pautz, Easton Ibarra, Isaiah and Nahla Nelson, Owen and EmmahLeigh Cass, Bethanie Littler; two great great grandchildren, Jamison Deneke and Noah Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
