Obituary

Alice Mable Denniston was born March 16, 1923, to Mel and Jessie (Music) Denniston in Wyoming.

Alice married George Lyle Gerig, Sr. and after he passed in 1969, she later then married, John Cochrun. Alice was a very loving, caring, and giving person. She would do anything she could to help people. She cleaned the church for years and volunteered at the nursing home after she retired. While she was in the hospital there was a nurse trying to put an IV into her veins in her arm and he tried several times but her veins weren't having it and she asked him, "Do you have a quota on how many needles sticks you have to do in a day? I think you made that quota on me" and then everyone all laughed. She loved people and giving hugs, laughing, and joking around.  Alice would go to church every Sunday before and after her stop at Taco Johns. She loved watching WWF, Golden Girls, and Mama's Family on T.V. Some of her favorite hobbies were playing cards sewing, and crocheting. Alice 's home was always a welcoming place to be and her doors were always open to everyone. She was always there for her children no matter how old they were as she loved seeing them and spending time with all of her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor until the day she went to be with the Lord. She was the best and missed by many. We love you Mom, Grandma, Grams, Granny Good Goose.
