Alice was given life by her Creator and was born September 17, 1919, at Gorman, SD, to Henry A. and Mabel (Warn) Hagny. She grew up near Gettysburg. Alice was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Alice married Harold B. Iversen March 23, 1941, at Harrold, SD, and God blessed them with three children; Barbara, Greg, and Gretchen. They farmed at Gettysburg until 1960 when they moved to the ranch south of Sturgis. Alice was a ranch wife her entire life.
On June 3, 2017, the Lord Jesus called His faithful servant, Alice, into the joys of eternal life in heaven.
Alice is survived by her three children, Barbara Robinson, Greg (Janice) Iversen, and Gretchen (David) Lee; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Philip (Gladys) Hagny.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Harold; her parents; two brothers; five sisters; and son-in-law, Ronald Robinson.
Visitation will be Friday, June 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
All thanks and praise to God for the gift of Alice! Confident in the promises of God's Word we await with anticipation the return of our Lord Jesus, the Day of Resurrection, and a glad reunion in heaven.
