Funeral services for Alice Johnson will beheld at 11 am this Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Spearfish, with Pastor Kent Stillson officiating.

Alice, 85, died Oct. 3, 2006, at the Dorsett Nursing Home, Spearfish.

Burial will be at Bear Butte Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Alice was born Nov. 3, 1920 at Plainview, to William and Ida (Myles) Collins, the seventh of eight children. She attended school in Faith.

She married Harold Johnson on July 26, 1950 in Miles City, Mont. They ranched in the Faith area until 1965, Canyon, Minn. from 1965 to 1969, and near Newell until 1981 when they retired.

She resided in Spearfish since 1991.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Gividen and Colleen Talamentes, both from San Jose, CA, and Susan Rasmussen of Sundance, WY; two sons Galen Johnson of Spearfish and Eric Johnson of Goleta, CA; four grandsons, four granddaughters; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, five brothers, and one son, Jerry.

A memorial has been established to The Salvation Army and the American Heart Association.
