Alma S. Summers, 92, of Black Hawk, SD, died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Sturgis Regional Senior Care in Sturgis, SD.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery with Mr. Ken Fairbrother officiating.

Alma was born December 26, 1918, in Vici, OK to Ralph S. and Flora A. (Morrow) Flood. She grew up and was educated in the Riverside, CA area. She married Charles Leon Summers on April 12, 1938, in Los Angeles, CA. They moved to Black Hawk, SD on November 3, 2001. Charles died January 19, 2002, and remained in Black Hawk until the time of her death. Alma was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed watching WWE professional wrestling and NASCAR racing with Karl Edwards being her favorite driver.

Alma is survived by a daughter Norma Jean Stufflebean; two brothers Gene Flood and Ivan Flood and daughter-in-law Margaret (Tom) Broadbent.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, two sisters and two brothers.
