Obituary
Alyce Irene Tapken, 102, Sturgis, died, Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Sturgis Regional Senior Care. She was born August 24, 1922 to Johnathan and Ferne (Allen) Heberling.
Alyce is survived by her children, daughter Shirley Nichols and Gary Sharman, LaQuinta, CA, son, Russ (Sharri) Wildey, MT, Step-daughters, Margaret (Steven) Denton, Sturgis, and daughter Mary Frances, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tapken; brothers, Glen, Ed, and Max Heberling, and brother George Yates; and 2 sisters, Ida Paulson and Agnes Paulson.
