BELLE FOURCHE | Anita K. Griffin, 73, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Spearfish Regional Hospital.

She was born June 29, 1942 in Rapid City to Nelson and Eva (Hall) Roberts. She married Leon (Griff) Griffin on October 31, 1959. To this union four children were born.

In her later years, she enjoyed her time spent best with her children and grandchildren. She also very much appreciated her friends in the building where she lived.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon ( Dale) Burkhart; her sons, Gene (Kari) Griffin, Spearfish, Dean (Ronna) Griffin, Gillette, WY; daughter, Dana Kay (Lonnie) Krumm, Belle Fourche; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Griff; her son, Calvin; her parents; most of her siblings; and two grandsons.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, June 3, 2016 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with Reverend Tom Martin officiating.

All friends and family are asked gather at Black Hills Funeral Home at 10:00 am prior to the service. A time of fellowship will be held at the Dick Bowman Hall in Belle Fourche at 1:00 pm Friday following the service at the cemetery.
