Ann Toth, 103, of Sturgis, SD, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Monument Health Senior Care, Sturgis, SD.

Ann was born on December 24, 1919, in St Paul, MN to Joseph and Ann (Krug) Wehner.   Ann married John Toth on October 10, 1941, at Wilbaux, Montana.  They moved to Whitewood in 1957. They spent nearly 41 years together before John's death in 1982.  Ann enjoyed going to Deadwood to play the slots.

Survivors include her children, Rodney (Marian) Toth and Cheryl (Calvin) Borup; sister, Faye (Ron) Carlson; brother, Roger Wehner; grandchildren, Todd Hammond, Scottie (Marly) Borup, Jenny (Aaron) Arehart, Holly (Eric) Bauer and Jonathon (Annie) Toth; great grandchildren, Emily Hammond, Melody Hammond, Tylor Borup, Sebastin Borup, Calin Arehart and Everett Toth along with one on the way in November. She is also survived by one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, John Toth; daughter, Sandra Hammond; her parents, Joseph and Anna Wehner; 3 brothers, Frank, Martin and Allen; sisters, Sherry, Dorothy and some younger siblings.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Funeral services will be Thursday August 17, 1:00pm at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD. Graveside services to follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
