Anna Elizabeth Ginter, 83, Sturgis, died on March 3, 2013, at Rapid Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Henrique Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2013.

Anna was born to Charles and Florence Miller on October 13, 1929, in Sturgis. She graduated from Sturgis High School and shortly after, she married Darwin Ginter on September 4, 1947.

Anna was a very giving person and loved to spend time with her family, make numerous pies for the Sturgis Senior Center, and volunteering for the Sturgis Regional Hospital Auxiliary and the annual threshing bee. She was a devoted member of the Grace Lutheran Church, and she was also a member of several organizations, such as the antique club, Knit Wits, Buttons and Bows, Spring Creek Ladies Club, and the Northern Hills Bird Club.

Survivors include her sons, Charles (Dolores) Ginter, Whitewood, and Tim (Jana) Ginter, Carpenter, WY; brothers, Ernie (Eleanora) Miller, Sturgis, and Dean (Donna) Miller, Sturgis; 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Darwin; son, Randel; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Donald and Edwin; and sisters, Maxine, Goldie, and Doris.

A memorial has been established to the Sturgis Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
