She was born to Harry (Pete) Miller and Carthel Kuykendall Miller in Texas County, Oklahoma on September 27, 1928.

She married Jack Barclay, they are parents of three children. They lived in the Sturgis area and a short time in Wyoming.

After they were divorced, she moved back to Sturgis, SD, and later married Cletus Lanphear.

She earned her GED, and worked at Bob's Restaurant for many years and at the Sturgis library. She was always reading books and magazines and loved to go to garage sales to find lost treasures. Anna enjoyed the Sturgis Rally as lots of friends stopped by to visit her, year after year.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Lanphear; her parents, Harry Miller and Carthel Kuykendall; her step-father, Hollis Kuykendall; two sisters, Faye Leveque and Joanne Foertsch; two brothers, Hollis Jr. and Jack Kuykendall; and 2 great-grandchildren, Connor and Chloe Beier.

Anna Lanphear, 87, died in Casper, WY, October 22, 2015 and is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Deadwood, SD.
