Anna M. Sinner, 84, Newell, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at the Spearfish Regional Hospital in Spearfish.

Visitation was from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Friday Feb. 24, 2006, at the Newell Christian Fellowship Church, with Pastor Sean Carney officiating. Burial followed at the Hope Cemetery near Newell.

Anna was born March 6, 1921, at Carson, N.D., to Anton and Anne (Lacher) Vetter. In 1938, she moved with her family to Vale. Anna married Alex Sinner on March 9, 1939, at Vale. Anna and Alex moved to the Newell area in the fall of 1939, where they have lived ever since.

Anna was a member of the Newell Christian Fellowship Church in Newell.

Anna is survived by two sons, Buzz Sinner and his wife Audrey, and Jake Sinner and his wife Angie, all of Gillette, Wyo.; one daughter, Mary Dunham and her husband Dale, Rapid City; three sisters, Theresa Smith, Belle Fourche, Margaret Teters, Bakersfield, Calif., and Veronica Youngberg, Newell; one brother, John Vetter; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna was preceeded death by her parents, her husband Alex, one grandson, three brothers, and one sister.

Memorials have been established to the Church Building Fund or the Newell Ambulance.
