A. Paul "Badger" Spencer, 56, Sturgis, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Fort Meade VA Hospital.

Visitation at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Committal services were Friday, July 27, 2007, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Military honors were presented by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Lou Spencer, Eaton, Colo.; son, Paul Spencer, Loveland, Colo.; daughters, Starla, Helena, Mont., and Laci, California; brothers, Will Spencer, Hot Springs, Loyd Spencer, Eaton, Colo., and half brother, Veral J. Spencer, South Carolina; and several grandchildren.
