Arne John Lund II of Whitewood, SD, passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 66. Arne was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Arnold LeRoy and Doris Kathrein (Robinson) Lund.

Arne grew up in Concord, California, graduating from De LaSalle High School in 1976 with honors. Following high school, Arne spent three years at Homboldt Collage where he took Law. However, Arne became interested in computers. He got a job at Johnson Matthey where he was in charge of Security of Accounting.

Following an injury, he moved to South Dakota in 1992 to help his brother start a business. A few years later due to injuries, he became his parents' caretaker. He's called Whitewood, SD home since 1992.

Arne is survived by Bill, Betty & Sue Moore-Lund, as well as Phyllis Swanson-Vik of Waubay, South Dakota. He was preceded by his parents; Arnold and Doris Lund, David and Phillip Vik, and Lois Legrange.
