IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arnold Leroy
Lund
October 22, 1916 – December 11, 2018
Arnold was born October 22, 1916, in Dutton, MT, to Arnie John and Louise Marie (Hanson) Lund. With an urge to see the world, Arnold left home after the 6th grade to ride the rails, seeing the country during the Great Depression Era. He found work doing many things and owned several businesses during his life, from writing for a time for the St. Paul Times in the 40's, to owning a truck and trailer rental company. At 72 he worked as a county bus driver in California. In 1958, Arnold married Doris Robinson. He loved to spend time in Lake Tahoe, gambling, traveling the country, seeing new things, and meeting new people. He will be remembered for his generous and giving nature, never saying no to someone in need, and giving his last dollar so someone could eat. In his later years, he would eat McDonalds breakfast nearly every morning, getting there however he could, and at 100 he was awarded free breakfast for life.
