Audrey Lee Estes, 74, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the Spearfish Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.

Audrey was born November 20, 1938, to Leslie and Myrtle (Robinson) McDaniels in Rapid City. She grew up in rural Meade County.

Audrey married Ray Estes on July 7, 1958, at Union Center. To this union two children were born, Jeffrey Leon and Regina Rae. She enjoyed the many adventures she shared with Ray, from elk hunting in Colorado, halibut fishing in Alaska, to trout fishing in the Black Hills, and many other trips. Audrey cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina (Mike) Eichenberger, Gillette, WY; grandchildren, Nikki (Travis) Manke, Sioux Falls, Macie Wiles, Hot Springs, and Shaye (Jody) Melton, Abilene, TX; great-grandchildren, Keshia, Phoinex, Callie, Makia, Koevin, Madelynn, and Delaney; sisters, Beverly Hale, Rapid City, and Leslie "Cookie" Bonsell, Spearfish; and three nieces.

Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; son, Jeffrey; sister, Rano Rippe; and her parents.

A memorial has been established to the Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Spearfish.
