IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Becky L.
Borton
April 9, 1955 – June 24, 2012
NEWCASTLE, WYO. | Becky Lynn Borton, 57, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Weston County Health Services with her family by her side.
Becky was born April 9, 1955, in Newcastle, the daughter of Cledus and Fern (Craig) Highland. She was the oldest of three girls.
On Oct. 19, 1974 she married Bruce Borton and they made their home in Newcastle. After studying and appreciating precious truths from the bible, she became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1982. She valued the hope of the ransom sacrifice that was made available to all meek ones. That moved her to share those truths with her family and many others.
She lived for her children and her grandchildren, even becoming "Aunt Buck," "Dappy" and "Grammy" to many. There was no end to her love and generosity.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Borton of Newcastle; daughters, Brandi Rae Mills (Ryan) of Daniel, and Seiley Shae Capps (William) of Laramie; son, Garrett Jet Borton of Newcastle; grandchildren, Cappel and Sylvan Mann, Rugby and Basil Capps, and Tyce and Shaye Mills; sisters, Launa Christensen (Walt) of Newcastle and Paula Smith (Mike) of Elko, Nev.; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Crouch Auditorium in Newcastle. A reception will follow in the high school cafeteria.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established and donations may be sent to First State Bank of Newcastle, in care of The Becky Borton Memorial, PO Box 910, Newcastle, WY 82701.
