Newell - Benjamin L. Stevens, 86 of Newell, passed away June 25, 2012 at the Belle Fourche Regional Senior Care. Survivors include his wife, Betty Stevens, Newell; four daughters, Billie (John) Beaver, Newell, Tammy (Vance) Frierson, Cocoa, Florida, Pam Fortune, Kingman, Arizona, and Sharon (Sam) Cardosa, Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons, Mike (Rebekah) Stevens, Michigan, and Steve (Cheryl) Fortune, Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Jim (Kat) Stevens, Byron, Georgia, and Ike (Gloria) Stevens, Kingman, Arizona; three sisters, Verna Stevens, Pamona, California, Mary Harmon, Live Oak, Florida, and Judy Maney, Kingman, Arizona; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and twelve great- great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Ina Stevens; father, Benjamin Stevens Sr.; a brother, Bill Stevens; a sister, Shirley Stevens; a daughter, Debra Henry, and one grandson, Al Henry. Upon his request cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
