Obituary

CUSTER | Benny Lee Sedustine passed away at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Graveside services for Benny will be held in Newcastle, WY at the Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. followed by a get together at Mondell Heights in Newcastle. Benny was born November 12, 1955 to Bernard Sedustine and Barbara E. (Franklin) Peltz at the Lutheran Hospital in Hot Springs, SD. Benny attended schools in Rapid City graduating from Central High School with the Class of 1974. He later moved to Wyoming and worked at the coal mines near Gillette, where he used his special talents of welding for many years. He was instrumental in building some playground equipment at one of the parks in Newcastle. In July of 1979, he married Robyn Wikle of Rapid City and to this union two children were born, Brett Allen and Stacey Lane. Benny enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing and being in the woods. He loved to teach people how to fly fish and was very good at catching some great fish. Benny was living in Custer, SD at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Barbara; and maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his two children, Brett (Tera) and Stacey, both of Casper, WY; one sister, Berna Dee (Mark) Warren, Spencer, IA; one granddaughter, Sutton Grace Sedustine, Casper; three nieces, MaKila, Brittney, and Lindsey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. A memorial has not yet been established by the family so please direct any cards and well wishes attention to his daughter Stacey L. Graff 720 W. 59th St. Casper Wy, 82601.
