Bernice was born August 3, 1917, at Boneita Springs, SD, to John L. and Emma (Hodson) Baker. She graduated from Sturgis High School in 1935.
She married Francis Langin in Sturgis on August 14, 1939. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's auto salvage business, and later for her son.
Bernice was a member of United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Northern Hills Bird Club. She enjoyed golf, reading, gardening, and knitting.
Bernice Aileen Langin, 102, Sturgis, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Sturgis Regional Senior Care.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Langin, Sturgis, and Richard "Rick" Langin and his wife, "Ned," Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; one brother, Wallace Baker; one sister, Marian (Myron) Bennett; and her granddaughter, Lindsay Langin.
Memorial services will be held at Black Hills Nation Cemetery at 10 AM on Friday, September 27th, 2019.
