Beulah Aaberg, 90, Sturgis, SD, died Sunday, October 1, 2006, at the Sturgis Regional Hospital.

Beulah was born June 22, 1916 at Frankfort, SD, to Frederick and Suria (Danner) Stambach. She grew up in Frankfort and graduated from High School. Her father was a farmer and the family lived in Seneca, SD, and Gettysburg, SD, before moving to the Black Hills in 1950. In 1953 she moved to Sturgis. In 1957 she went to work in food service at Ft. Meade. She was employed there for 25 years before she retired.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Sturgis First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son Edward Roberts, Sturgis; her daughter Sheryl Frey and her husband Paul, Sturgis; two sisters, Lena Speaker, Lantry, SD and Peggy Wood, Alliance, SD; also 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, three brothers and six sisters and two grandchildren.

Funeral services at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis with Pastor Gordon Higgins officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
