Beulah Deloris Albrandt, 96, Spokane, WA, and formerly of Sturgis, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane.
Beulah was born May 21, 1917, at Arlington, SD, to Marvin and Emma (Dahl) Erickson. She lived at Arlington until age 7 when the family moved to Blunt, SD, and later to Pierre. She attended school mostly in Arlington. Beulah married Lester Stein in 1937.
Beulah married Henry Albrandt on January 25, 1947, at Newcastle, WY. In 1952, they left South Dakota and lived in Lansing, MI, until 1955, when they moved to the state of Washington where they resided for 41 years. They moved back to South Dakota in 1996. Beulah moved to Spokane to live with her daughter six months ago.
She was baptized in the Lutheran Church in Arlington and was confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Pierre. Beulah was a musician and loved to play the organ and piano.
Survivors include two sons, James (Jody) Albrandt and Kenneth (Cindy) Albrandt, all of McMinnville, OR; one daughter, Kathy (Bill) Webb, Spokane, WA; daughter-in-law, Gayle Stein, Auburn, WA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorna Albrandt, Grand Junction, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; son, Edward; five brothers, Wayne, Kenneth, Lester, Don, and Robert Erickson; and two sisters, Audrey Schutte and Marian Hurn.
She was known and loved by many and will be missed by all. Services will be held at a later date.
