Beverly Bogner passed away November 25, 2022, in Rapid City.

She was born and educated in Montana. In 1972, she accepted a commission with the United States Public Health Service. During her time with the USPHS she was stationed at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland; with the Department of Health and Human Services' Region X in Seattle, Washington; and also, at Health Resources and Services Administration headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. She retired as Captain in the Regular Corps, USPHS in 1998.

During her retirement she became an advocate to ensure improvements in the documentation of medical care for veterans. She was a Life Member of the Disabled Veterans of America (DAV).

Memorial contributions may be given to any DAV chapter in her honor.

CAPT Bogner was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Judy Bogner, and her sister, Barbara.

She leaves no immediate family.
