Bev was born in Deadwood, SD, on March 7, 1939, to William and Elayne Madsen. She attended twelve years of school in Lead, graduating from Lead High School in 1957. Bev married Donald Robertson on December 29, 1957. They have three children. She lived in many states and Europe with Don's Army career. Bev enjoyed traveling, site seeing, square dancing, and dancing.

Beverly J. "Bev" Robertson, 73, of Lead, SD, died, Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Don Robertson of Lead; daughters, Judy Geffre of Lead and Nancy Robertson of Spearfish; son, Gene Robertson of Lead; grandson, Nicholas Geffre of Lead; granddaughter, Amber Wychoff of Stockton, CA; and three greatgrandchildren; brother, Bruce Madsen of Sturgis; sister, Bernice Clark of Black Hawk; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
