Custer | Billie JoAnn Hansen, 83 of Custer passed away on November 30, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
She served in the U.S. Maries from 1951-1952.
She was born on December 12, 1931 in Gregory, South Dakota to William and Katie Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wes Hansen, Custer; two sons, Jeffrey (Cherie') Hansen and James (Delores) Hansen; a daughter, Jennifer (Rick Davis) Hansen; three sisters, Mary Hasselquist, Phyllis Grey and Joyce Busskohl; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Kenneth, Lester, Sherman and Robert Jones and five sisters, Nellie Usher, Jessie Berglund, Florence Zimbleman, Kattie Remter and Anna Jones.
Upon her request, cremation has taken place and services will be held later in the summer of 2016.
