Bobby D. Peterson, 75, Sturgis, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Beth Peterson, Sturgis; one son, Kevin Peterson, Gillette, Wyo.; three daughters, Nancy Carpenter, Sturgis, LuAnn Carlson, Sioux Falls, and Ila Kool, Brookings; one brother, Billy D. Peterson, Sturgis; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Bear Butte Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home prior to 9:45 a.m. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Denzel Nonhof officiating.

Memorials have been established to the First Presbyterian Church, Special Olympics and the Meade County Senior Citizen's Center.
