Bonnie Belle Fritz, 72, Sturgis, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Northern Hills General Hospital in Deadwood.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. A family prayer service will begin at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday May 13, 2008 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Sturgis with Pastor Mike Fox officiating. Burial follows at the Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the Grace Lutheran Church in Sturgis.

Bonnie was born March 14, 1936, at Isabel to Sam and Martha (Mundt) Goetz. She married Christian Adam Fritz on June 3, 1952. They were married for 56 years. Bonnie loved babies and children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved reading, singing, baking, and caring for her indoor potted plants. She also loved having fun in Deadwood. She made the best caramel rolls, peanut butter balls and apple dumplings, ever.

Survivors include her husband Chris, Sturgis; two daughters, Cheryl Brewer, Belle Fourche, Beckie (Marty) Geffre, Sturgis; granddaughter, Bethaney (Tom) Stewart; grandsons, Adam and Andrew Geffre; great-grandchildren, Ashtin and Tommy Stewart; brothers, Victor Goetz, Coeur d'alene, ID, Jesse Goetz, Bayview, ID; sisters, Genevieve "Genny" Knecht, Garden Grove, CA. We love you and miss you.
