Bonnie was born May 5, 1935, to Clifford "Bud" and Minnie (McKee) Jordan in Armour, SD. Bonnie was born the fourth of eight children. For a while, the family farmed around Armour until Clifford contracted tuberculosis. At this time, the family made their way to Arizona for Clifford's health. However, being away from family was too difficult so they came back to South Dakota and lived in the Custer area.

In 1949, Bonnie married Clarence Mlejnek and moved to Rice Lake, WI. From this union came two sons, Gary and Douglas Mlejnek. In 1962, Bonnie then married Robert "Mike" Wang and from this union there were four daughters: Debra, Robin, Pearl, and Peggy. Mike and Bonnie farmed in White River, SD, until 1970 and then made their permanent residence in Sturgis, SD.

Bonnie was a homemaker and always had an open heart and open home. She was a guiding light and a helping hand not only to her own children, but many of her nieces and nephews. There was always coffee on the table for family, friends, or anyone who liked a good story, a good laugh, or to argue politics. Coffee and stories flowed freely around Bonnie's table.

Bonnie Belle Wang, 82, Sturgis, died Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the David M. Dorsett Health Care Facility in Spearfish.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly (Duane) Rada of Boise, ID;, her sister-in-law, Charlotte Jordan of Sturgis, SD; her sister-in-law, Iona Jordan of Sturgis; her two sons, Gary and Douglas (Beverly) Mlejnek of Hoven, WI; her four daughters, Debbie (Ben) Andres of Greenfield, OH, Robin Kreis of Sturgis, Pearl (Patrick) Rooney of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, and Peggy (Mark) Mattke of Sturgis; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Wang; her parents, Bud and Minnie McKee; one sister, Betty Jean Stevens; and four brothers, Clifford Jordan, Merle Jordan, Frank Jordan, and Johnny Jordan.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sturgis. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

A memorial has been established.
