Obituary

Bradford Ray "Booger Red" Lawson was born on December 12, 1966 in Baton Rouge and was a resident of Montpelier. His gentle, generous soul departed on August 3, 2015 in Sturgis, South Dakota participating in what he loved so much, Bike Week.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Lynn Walker, Greensburg, his father, Bobby R. Lawson, Greensburg, his brother, Blakely Ryan Lawson, Greensburg, his aunts, Gale Walker, Fluker, and Fran Walker, Kentwood, cousins, Deborah Browning, Wilmer, Mark Browning (Amy) and their children, Austin, Nicholas, and Ashley Perck (Josh) and their son, Kaden, Central, Ashley Walker, Kentwood, Amy Kent (Douglas), Fluker, and their children, Zachary, Collin, and Hallie, Amber Walker, Hammond, Stanan Capdeboscq (Henry) and their son, Carter, Court Lawson (Ashley) and their children, Collins, Griffon, Anna Kirk, and Tanner and special friend, Tracy Brewer, Montpelier.

He was preceded in death by fiance', Carol Ann Fletcher, grandparents, Willis and Athalone Walker and Si and Edith Lawson, uncles, Benny Walker, Jimbo Walker, Stanley "Red" Lawson and Bill Conleay, aunts, Diana Conleay and Nan Lawson. Brad was a 1985 graduate of Oak Forest Academy and a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg. He loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Visitation will be Friday, August 7 at 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Wilmer. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brabham, Jack Burle, Bruce Crouch, Dewayne Miller, Joe Spencer, and E. B. Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Lawson, Timmy Hickey and Keith Moran.
