Bradley John Anderson, 16, Sturgis, was taken from us on August 8, 2014, in a vehicle accident near Lusk, WY.

He was born November 10, 1997, to Kevin and Janis (Mathis) Anderson. He lived in Viborg, SD, for his first three years and then moved with his mom and dad to Sturgis, SD. His sister, Lindsey, joined the family in 2003.
Bradley was baptized at Bethany Lutheran Church in Viborg and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Sturgis.
Bradley attended SBHS in Sturgis where he would have been a junior. While in elementary and middle school, he enjoyed flag football, soccer, baseball, track, and cross country. He listened to music of all types, and played trombone in band. He also learned how to play Ironman on his electric guitar. Bradley loved his Ag classes in school and was a member of FFA, which he was elected an officer. He also had an opportunity to go to FFA National Convention in Kentucky. He received many awards in both Ag and FFA. He enjoyed shooting bow at Full Draw Archery in Whitewood and participated in state 4-H archery competition. He enjoyed deer hunting every season and working on vehicles with his dad. His favorite things to do were spending time with his friends, riding BMX bikes, long boards, and driving around in whatever vehicle was running and had gas. He also enjoyed dirt bikes, ATV's, and 4- wheeling with his Tahoe.
He worked at The Knuckle for the last three years as well as mowed lawns and scooped snow for anyone that needed help.
Family and friends meant everything to him and he helped anyone who needed him no matter what time of day or night, he was a phone call or text away. His contagious smile and the twinkle in his baby blue eyes kept everyone wondering what he was up to or what he had already done.
Bradley will be deeply missed by his mom and dad along with his sister, Lindsey; his maternal grandmother, Elaine Mathis, Watertown; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Anderson, Viborg; aunts, Karla (Paul) Harms, Parker, Julie Anderson, Viborg, Jolene (Doug) Vavra, Winner, and Juliane (Jim) Lloyd, Watertown; uncles, Chuck (Angie) Anderson, Viborg, Jim Mathis, Mitchell, Jerry (Shelly) Mathis, Brandon, and Jason Mathis, Sioux Falls; cousins; and many more family and friends.
