Brett Deon Sneesby, 59, of Rapid City, SD, died Friday, November 10, 2023, in Rapid City, SD.

Brett Deon Sneesby was born on April 25, 1964, in Sturgis, SD, to Marvin and Dale Dianne (Brown) Sneesby. He was raised in South Dakota, and California, but he graduated at Sturgis Brown High School with the class of 1982. Brett had worked as a cook in Sturgis until joining the Rapid City Hospital system in 1997. He married Cindy Colton in 1996 and they later divorced.

Brett is survived by his children: Jeffery Andersen-Sneesby, Brittany, Brianna, and Phillip Sneesby; sisters, Cheryl Fraijo, of Texas, and Brenda (DJ) Werlinger, of Whitewood, SD; stepmother, Jean Sneesby, of Whitewood, SD, three stepsisters: Joddy, Suzan, and Jully; three stepbrothers: Wesly, Richard, and Kenneth.

Brett was preceded in death by his father and mother: Marvin and Dianne Sneesby; brothers, David, and Michael; and stepbrother, Billy.
