Brian Pierson passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025 at Ft Meade VA in Sturgis, SD, at the age of 64.

Brian grew up in a military family and retired as a Tsgt in 2004 after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force at assignments from the U.S. to Europe and the Far East to special duty at the Pentagon. Throughout his life, Brian enjoyed his hobbies of fishing with his daughter and target shooting and cherished the nearly 7 years he had with his only grandson.

He is survived by his wife Tonya, daughter Caitlin and grandson Ryder of Rapid City, SD, his father Travis Pierson of Jacksonville, TX, his older brother Steven Pierson of Niceville, FL, his younger sister Katherine Hurtt of Jacksonville, TX and nephews Brandon Johnson and Colton Hurtt of San Antonio, TX.

Brian will be interred with military honors at Black Hills National Cemetery where a short graveside service will be held for friends and family.

A small reception will be held at Landmark Community Church located at 3777 Anderson Rd., Rapid City, SD following the service.
