Sturgis - Candace R. Scott, 44 of Sturgis, died March 9, 2012, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Gary Scott, Sturgis; a son, Collin Maeschen, Kalamazoo, Michigan; her father, Robert "Punk" DeBoer, Sioux Falls and two brothers, Mike and Rick DeBoer, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Baerd. Upon her request cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date in Sioux Falls.
