Candis was born September 16, 1961, in Ridley Park, PA, to Robert and Thelma Danks Candis lived in Newcastle for 23 yrs.
Everyone knew her as Candi, she loved watching her son and grandsons play sports, especially baseball every summer. Candi was a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks. She loved all of her friends and the community very much.
Candi worked at Subway for many years. She then moved on to work at the Weston County Senior Services in Newcastle till she got sick. She worked at the center for 4 yrs. The senior center was like a second family to her. She loved everyone at the Center very much.
Candis Irene Meyers, 57, of Newcastle, Wyoming, passed away at home surrounded by her family on October 10, 2018.
Candis is survived by her children, Autumn Meyers, Ryan Oliver; grandsons, Dayton Williams and Cameron Williams; her stepchildren, Josh Oliver, Julie Oliver, Travis Oliver, Adam Oliver and their families; her sisters, Sandy Phelps, Robyn Parrish, Patty Fennelly, Sherry Faust and Joyce Kracht and their families; and last but not least her real special friend that was in her heart, Jim Finley.
She is preceded in death by her long-time soul mate, Edwin Oliver; their son, Clay Oliver; her parents and her brother, Bobby Danks.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Weston County Senior Center 627 Pine St. Newcastle, Wyoming 82701.
