Fairburn, SD | Carole Hocum, 74, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospice House.  She was born in Bellevue, Nebraska on June 27, 1944 to John and Olga (Hustad) Emblem.  Carole married her husband, Marvin on June 29, 1961 in Milbank, SD.  To this union five children were born.

Carole will be missed by many, including her sons, James, Paul, and Jon Hocum, all of Minnesota; daughter, Sherri Danley, Black Hawk, SD; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; and her son, Michael Hocum.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
