Caron Lee Jones, 70, Piedmont, SD passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at Fort Meade VA Medical Center. Her service will be Friday, March 13, 2026 at Kinkade Funeral Chapel starting at 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2026 at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Caron Lee Jones was born February 29, 1956 at Waco, TX to Charles and Lennelle (Slaughter) Jones. Caron joined the U.S. Navy in November 1975, receiving an honorable discharge August 30, 1979.

She lived in Piedmont. Caron had a love for Lord Jesus, and it was easy for her to share her faith with others.

Caron was preceded in death by her parents; but is survived by her cousin. Also thankful to have shared in her life, are numerous acquaintances who became her family and friends.
