Casey Todd Shepperson died June 26, 2026 at the age of 61, after a long battle with dementia.

Casey was born December 21, 1964 in Spearfish, SD. Casey spent his younger years in Pierre, Rapid City and Black Hawk. He granduated from Stevens High School in 1983. Casey worked at Landstroms and then worked at Merillatt for 22 years. Casey spent many years hunting with his family and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. The Budweiser Company misses him.

Casey is survived by his mother, Helen Benning, his brother Cody Shepperson, his sisters Debbie Richmond (Bob), Valerie Curtis (John) and Susan Grubl (Ron) and many nieces and nephews.

Casey was preceded in death by his father, Bill Shepperson, grandparents Melvin and Mary Shepperson, Edna Burki (Otto), Horace Jackson (Dorothy) and Jean Flynn (Bob).

His brother, sisters and friends all called him "Geez"
