Casey Joe Timm, 55, Vale, SD, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at his residence in Vale.

Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Believers Fellowship Church in Sturgis with Pastor John Williamson officiating.

A memorial has been established.

Casey was born October 22, 1955 at Deadwood, SD, to William James "Bud" and Juanita Christine (Reiche) Timm.

Casey grew up on the family ranch East of Newell. He graduated from Newell High School in 1974.

On November 22, 1974 he married Debra Lee Wulf at Vale, SD.

Casey worked at Wheeler Lumber in Whitewood as a mechanic until 1978. He also worked as a mechanic for Ed Culver. He returned to the ranch and worked for his Dad until 1986 before working at a seed plant in Newell. In 1987 Casey was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He continued to work as a mechanic until his health declined.

Casey was active in his community. He was President for the Vale Water Board, and he helped the fire department and the Vale community.

Survivors include his wife Debra Timm, Vale, SD; sons Max Timm, Vale, Steve (Karla) Timm, Vale; daughter Tanya (Charles Nicholas) Timm, Vale; one brother, Gary Timm, Newell; also five grandchildren, Quentin, Coy, Trayven, Tori, Taava.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lance and father in law, Darrell Wulf.
