Cassy Baez Irizarry, 90, died on December 17, 2016 in Rapid City. She was born on January 12, 1926, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Americo and Juliana Baez. On November 2, 1958 she was united in marriage to Julio Irizarry in New York.
Cassy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Julio; two daughters, Juliana and Sheila.
Cassy was preceded in death by her parents, Americo and Juliana; five brothers and one sister.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
