Newcastle | Charles (Charlie) Albert Koncaba Jr., was born on October 10, 1955 in Port Comfort, TX. Charlie died July 23, 2014 at Rapid City Regional Hospital with his family at his side. Charlie was born to Charles Koncaba and Clara Deines. He married Brenda Billings on February 17, 2007. Charlie worked various jobs during his life; his last job was working for Grizzly Service for Bob Wright. He loved to work hard and play hard. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool, and cribbage, drinking coffee sitting on the floor Indian style playing solitaire. He loved taking vacations and road trips with his wife, finding historical sites and museums. Most of all, he loved family and friends and their children. Charlie is survived by his wife, Brenda Koncaba of Newcastle, WY; sons, Ronald Boettcher of Seattle, WA and Adam Boettcher of Sidney, NE; one granddaughter, Chenille; brothers, Julius (Jeanette) Koncaba of Gering, NE, Ernest (Joyce) Koncaba of Bayard, NE, Autone Koncaba of Scottsbluff, NE, and Bill Billings of Glendo, WY; sisters, Dorothy (Jerry) Williams of Glendo, WY, Suzi (John) Gibson of Newcastle, WY, and Jackie Smith of KS; mother-in-law, Katy (Walt) Soper of Newcastle, WY; Uncle Terry (Vicki) Cummings of Newcastle, WY; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael J. Koncaba and Adolph Lee Koncaba; two sisters, Mary Ann Tafova and Betty Jean Koncaba. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on July 26, 2014 at the Senior Center in Newcastle, WY.
