RAPID CITY| Charles John Landfried passed away on March 11, 2016 at the Department of Veteran Affairs, Fort Meade.
He was born on September 16, 2926 to John and Emma Landfried in Etna, PA.
He served in the US Army during World War II from January 5, 1945 to October 18, 1946.
He is survived by his sons, Scott (Angela) Landfried, and Frank (Barbra) Landfried; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Nicholas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Landfried; wife, June A Landfried; and sister, Ester Schram.
Services are planned for 11:30AM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with Chaplain (Ret.) Herbert B. Cleveland officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Sturgis Volunteer Honor Guard.
