Charles Herbert Rang, 77, Rapid City, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center.

Visitation was Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Graveside services were Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at 9 a.m. at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with Chaplain Moe Greiner officiating.

Charles was born July 10, 1928, at Rosebud, to Charles Lewis and Olive Beatrice (James) Rang. Charles served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.

Survivors include three sisters, one brother, and one special friend "J.B." .
