On February 14, 2022, Cherry Melton Allgood went to be with his savior. His faith and character will live on through his family. We all will miss him.

Cherry leaves behind his daughters, Sheryl (Dan) Cass, and Sandy (Kerry) Friedel; his son, Ron Allgood; and his daughters, Leann (Sam) Norris, and Wanda (Steve) Wilson; brother, Kenneth Allgood; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Cherry is preceded in death by his parents, Will (Ella) Allgood; his siblings, Leona, Earl, Johnie, Leo, Geneva, and Bill; his wives, Dorothy, and Delores; his son, Larry; and a granddaughter, Casey.

Finally, my family, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- think about such things.

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, seen in me- put it in to practice. And the God of peace will be with you.  (Philippians 4:8-9)

Committal services are going to be held at Sierra View Memorial Park Cemetery in Olivehurst, California.
