Cheryl was born February, 8, 1949, in Sturgis to Maurice and Sylvia (Jelley) Matthews. She grew up in Sturgis and graduated from high school.
Cheryl married Ronald Weins and they made their home in Sturgis where they raised their children. In 1982, they took over the Sturgis Tile Company and Cheryl became the bookkeeper.
Cheryl loved to cook. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.
Cheryl Ann Weins, 70, died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home in Sturgis.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ron Weins; son, Scott (Beth Kruger) Weins; daughter, Amy (David) Dogert; grandchildren, Amanda and Alex; brother, Randy Matthews; and sister Deb (Gerald) Powers.
Cheryl donated her body to further science. Services will be at a later date.
