Obituary

Christine DeeAnn (Goich) Jambor was born in Deadwood, SD, on March 11, 1949, to Milton and Helen (Johnson) Goich. She joined a sister, Caroline. They spent a number of years growing up in the Nemo and Lead area before moving to Sturgis in 1954. After moving to Sturgis, her mother married George Smith, to which her brother, Blair, was born.

She attended elementary school at Carroll D. Erskine in Sturgis where she continued on to middle school at Williams Middle School and finally graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1967.

In 1968, she married James Jambor to which their marriage was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Charlene in 1971 and Tonya in 1973. During their marriage, they resided in Cheyenne, WY, Rapid City, SD, and Corson, SD, finally settling back in Sturgis in 1978. At this time, she became employed at Marolfs Dakota Farms Cheese. Christine remained with the company until May of 1992, when the plant ceased operations and her health declined with the diagnosis of Lupus.

She enjoyed working outside in her numerous flower beds, spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, dancing, chatting on the phone, and every summer when rally rolled around, she counted heads and patiently waited for "all her boys" to arrive safe and catch up. In January of 2010, she became a resident at the Sturgis Regional Senior Care. Due to complications from surgery in April of this year she was transferred to Advanced Care Hospital of Montana where on May 9th, she left this world to join our Heavenly Father.

Blessed for having shared her beautiful life are her daughters, Char (Dave) Valenzuela, Saugus, CA, and Tonya (Allan) Reimer, Nipawin, Saskatchewan; her sister, Caroline (Larry), Lodgepole, SD; and brother, Blair (Deette), Belle Fourche. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Anthony, Hannah, Nickolas, Emily, Sammuel, and Benjamin. Also grateful for sharing her life are several nieces and nephews; special friend, Andrew Nelson; and numerous other friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; father, Milton; granddaughter, Emily; and brother, Milton D.
