Obituary

Christopher Ray Cramer, 42, of Fountain, Colorado died November 21, 2022.

Chris was born August 15, 1980 in Quinby, VA to Roger and Donna (Hornby) Cramer.  He was in the gifted program in elementary school.  Chris enjoyed spending time with his closest friends, Bryan Crockett and Robie Mears; as well as his cousin, Spencer Shelley. Chris enjoyed wrestling, riding 4-wheelers, listening to Weird Al, Mad Magazine, and video games in his early life.

Chris entered service in the United States Army on October 18, 2000, and spent most of his career at Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Benning, GA.  He was a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received an Honorable Discharge on October 17, 2004. Following his service in the Army, he started and was maintaining a career in Cyber Security.

Chris had many interests to include camping, gardening, specifically growing various kinds of peppers, painting miniatures for board games, retro gaming, and going to Rock and Metal Concerts. He also enjoyed hosting board game nights with his wife and friends Taylor Trask and Hunter Strickland.

On June 24, 2017 Chris married Amanda Quirk at the Meadow Event Hall in Doswell, VA.  To this marriage, one son was born.

Grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Amanda (Quirk) Cramer and his son Layne Greyson Cramer.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis, SD at 1pm on December 30, 2022.  Following the celebration, the service will be moved to the Black Hills National Cemetery for Inurnment at 2:30pm.
