Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. rr, for Clara A. Hultman, 94, of Sturgis at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gene Peterson officiating. Burial was at Black Hills National Cemetery under the direction of Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

She was born to Frederick and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Hart at Cleveland, Minn., May 17, 1896. She grew up at LeCenter, Minn., and was married to Charles Hultman October 2, 1920, at LeCenter. They moved to Holabird in the early 1920's where they carried mail in the Holabird area and alos operated a creamery. They moved to Sturgis in 1947 and have lived there since. Mrs. Hultman worked at the Fruth Hotel for many years. She dies Wednesday, October 17, 1990, at the Sturgis Community Long Term Care Center.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church Women, a 50-year member of Rebekah Lodge, a member of the Meade County Senior Citizens and had played with the Senior citizens Band.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Neil Hultman of Sturgis, who was raised from infancy by the Hultmans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; eight brothers and three sisters.
