Clara was born December 27, 1929, at Minatare, NE, to Conrad and Mary (Dahlinger) Einfalt.
On March 4, 1948, she married Casper "Cap" Heidrich at Belle Fourche, SD. Clara worked the farm with her husband. In March of 1974, they sold the farm and moved to Nisland. Clara worked as a housekeeper at the John Burns Hospital, and Belle Fourche Hospital. She retired in June of 1992.
Clara enjoyed bingo, craft club and loved to crochet. She made hundreds of afghans, doilies, pillows, and many other items. Every year, she had a booth and entered the items in the Butte / Lawrence County Fair. She was honored as a Butte / Lawrence fair honoree.
Clara Evelyn Heidrich, 90, formerly of Nisland died at the Rolling Hills Healthcare in Belle Fourche on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Survivors include her son, Billy (Sandy) Heidrich; daughters, Nancy Reid, and Patsy Martin; brother, Harry (Rose) Einfalt; and three grandchildren, Lyle Hanson, Cody (Cassie) Heidrich, and Clay Heidrich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Casper "Cap" Heidrich; one infant son, and one brother.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Nisland Independent Community Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial to the Nisland / Arpan Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
