Claudia Rae Dillon of Rapid City, South Dakota was born on February 9, 1945, she departed this world on the early morning of February 22, 2024, at the age of 79.

Claudia is survived by sister, Clo Trout; brothers, George (Roberta) Snell and Brad (Lona) Snell; sons, Jearld Dillon, Larry Dillon, and Donald (Deb) Dillon; grandchildren, Olivia, Lola, Cody, Wyatt, Noah, Logan, Carl, and Ashlie; great grandchildren, Kenny, Daniel, Oakley, and Stetson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Claudia was preceded in death by grandparents, Claud and Frida Smith; parents, Lloyd and Daisy Snell; husband, Jearld Dillon; and great grandchild, Emanual Williams.

With a kind heart and a joyous outlook on life and the gift of gab Claudia made many friends throughout her life. Claudia had three children, all boys that grew into strong good men.

In April of 1964 Claudia joined the Navy, while her military career was brief, she enjoyed many adventures throughout life. She loved to sing, crochet and read the Bible.

Claudia faced many struggles in life, but always tried to stay positive and spread joy, she loved with all her heart and was a friend to all. She will be missed, loved and remembered by all.  God bless.

Services to be held March 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at Black Hills Funeral Home,1440 Junction Avenue, Sturgis SD 57785 with a Celebration of life to follow at 1:00 pm at the Eagles Club,1410 Center Street in Rapid City.
