Claudia Jane Wiggins, 68, Rapid City, SD, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at the Clarkson Mountain View Health Care Center in Rapid City.

Claudia was born February 2, 1938 at Carbondale, IL to Homer and Ruby Cutler.

She was raised in Carbondale, IL, and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in teaching. She obtained her Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Alabama.

Claudia married William David Wiggins on September 6, 1956, in Carbondale, IL. They lived many years in Las Vegas, NV where they had many friends.

She also lived in many areas of the country including Alabama, Idaho, Nevada, Texas and Missouri. She was a special education teacher and worked for 30 years with elementary school and junior high students.

This past years she lived in Rapid City to be near her sister.

Claudia was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rapid City.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Reichel and her husband David, Little Rock, CA; and one sister, Marilyn Hisgen, Rapid City, SD; one brother Darrel Cutler and his wife Mary, Herrin, IL.

Following her wishes her body has been cremated.

Memorial services Friday September 29, 2006 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rapid City with Pastor Ken Craigg officiating.
